The plants that populate the world of Natuu

A

Acmella oleracea – contains spilanthol, a substance from the alkylamides group, which – if used externally – decreases muscle tension contributing to reducing facial wrinkles. Moreover, it has antiseptic properties and alleviates toothache.
This plant is also used for cooking – as a salad ingredient.

Ż

Air plant (kalanchoe pinnata) – this tropical plant is a true cornucopia of micro- and macroelements. It contains zinc, manganese, boron, copper, silicon, potassium, iron and calcium. It is also a rich source of vitamin C.

It exhibits fungicidal, bactericidal and virucidal properties. The plant reduces skin swelling, heals scars and festering wounds.

Sz

Red sage (salvia miltiorrhiza) is a plant that has at least 50 active compounds! Thus its applications are exceptionally vast, particularly in traditional Chinese medicine. Sage is used in cosmetology for reversing the effects of glycation. The glycation process occurs naturally, yet with time it damages the skin structure, which makes it less flexible and firm. Surface wrinkles occur and the skin changes its colour.
We have been developing our sage-based products for months.
All this in order to create compositions which will help us get the best results!
Independent research has shown that sage-based products:

  • intensely moisturize the skin,
  • make wrinkles less deep and visible,
  • improve flexibility and firmness of the skin,
  • affect balanced skin colour,
  • make the skin soft and pleasant to touch.

C

Wild rose, blackcurrant, pepper, parsley, seaberry, dogwood, horseradish. These plants abound in vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid). It is a potent antioxidant which improves skin density and firmness, smooths out wrinkles, slows down pigment overproduction, with appropriate pH it has peeling and highlighting properties (it belongs to the group of gently acting polyhydroxy acids – PHA). Vitamin C is used in couperose and rosacea skin care (as an anti-inflammatory ingredient which improves healing and highlights discolourations). It alleviates the symptoms of atopic dermatitis and post-acne discolourations, also acting as an anti-inflammatory agent. It improves the healing of minor skin injuries, which is why it is recommended for skin regeneration after dermatological treatments. Vitamin C also reinforces the protective properties of sunblocks. It is also successfully used in stretch mark therapy (it reduces their visibility).

N

Calendula (calendula officinalis) – is used for dressing and healing skin wounds and irritations. It stimulates the production of wound collagen, which is why it reduces scar tissue and helps smooth out stretch marks. Calendula soothes, softens and moisturizes the skin.
It affects the functioning of epidermis and accelerates its regeneration. The plant has anti-wrinkle properties and slows down the skin aging process, because it significantly limits the effects of free radicals. It improves skin firmness and moisture, particularly if it is sensitive, dry, peeling, reddened and burnt.

E

Wheat sprouts abound in vitamin E which is conducive to collagen creation. Moreover, it protects the epidermal fat layer, improves skin blood flow, supports acne and seborrheic dermatitis treatment, ensures stabilization and appropriate permeability of cellular membranes. Vitamin E is used in anti-wrinkle, nourishing and regenerating preparations.

R

Chamomile (chamomilla recutita) – has anti-inflammatory properties, relaxes smooth muscles, accelerates wound healing, acts as deodorant, kills bacteria and neutralizes bacterial toxins, as well as stimulates skin metabolism.

M

Ginkgo biloba – its extract stimulates and strengthens the circulatory system, improves blood flow, reinforces blood vessels and acts as a very strong antioxidant. It is used in anti-aging products due to the fact that it strengthens the skin connective tissue – thus slowing down the skin aging process.

K

Horsetail, quitch, knotweed, nettle, dandelion – these plants contain silicon. It is a very important element building skin, hair and nails. Silicon protects against free radicals, thereby slowing down the aging process and wrinkle creation. It is because if silicon that such proteins as collagen and elastin are produced. They are responsible for strengthening the condition and structure of the skin and improving its firmness.

A

Calendula, seaberry – these plants contain vitamin A (retinol). This vitamin of youth – as it is oftentimes described – prevents skin aging. UVA radiation drastically depletes vitamin A levels in the skin causing it to be overly dry. In cosmetics, it has rejuvenating properties, affects skin cell regeneration and epidermis keratinization and thickening. It also impedes photo-aging. Wheat sprouts
